Himalee Shah has joined Banijay Asia and Endemol Shine India as Head of Public Relations and Communications, following more than seven years at Prime Video.

Shah announced the move in a LinkedIn post, describing it as the start of a new chapter after her stint at the streaming platform, where she led international publicity and helped shape communications strategy for local original titles.

“I'm excited to join Banijay Asia and Endemol Shine India at a time when Indian entertainment is evolving rapidly and reaching audiences across India and beyond,” Shah said.

In her new role, she will lead PR and communications for the two production companies, helping tell the stories behind their unscripted and reality formats as well as scripted productions.

Before joining Banijay Asia and Endemol Shine India, Shah spent more than seven years at Prime Video. Her previous experience also includes roles with The Walt Disney Company India and Weber Shandwick.

Shah said her time at Prime Video had given her valuable experience in “storytelling, scale, and what it takes to bring great content to audiences”, lessons she will take into her new role.

Her move comes as India's content production business continues to evolve alongside the rapid expansion of streaming platforms and the growing international reach of Indian entertainment. Banijay Asia and Endemol Shine India are behind a range of scripted and unscripted productions, including major reality and entertainment formats adapted for Indian audiences.

The appointment brings a communications executive with deep experience in the streaming and entertainment sector into Banijay's Indian production businesses as the companies continue to operate across the country's growing scripted and unscripted content market.
