Thinkerbell unveils AI brand visibility tool for the ‘Zero-Click’ Era

Australian creative agency Thinkerbell has introduced Hi-Vis, a new service designed to help brands measure and improve how they are interpreted and recommended by artificial intelligence platforms.

The offering is aimed at addressing the growing influence of AI-powered search and recommendation tools, where consumers increasingly ask AI assistants what to buy, where to travel or which brands to trust—often making decisions before visiting traditional search results or websites.

According to Thinkerbell, Hi-Vis evaluates a brand's AI presence across three core areas. Fuel measures the information a brand publishes on its own channels, Fluency assesses how easily AI systems can discover and understand that information, while Fame examines how the brand is discussed by third-party sources such as media outlets, communities and other independent platforms.

The assessment generates a single Hi-Vis Score, allowing businesses to compare their AI visibility with competing brands across major AI ecosystems.

Dan Monheit, Chief CX Thinker at Thinkerbell, said AI has become a new decision-maker in the customer journey, making it increasingly important for brands to build credibility beyond their owned channels. He noted that AI models tend to favour brands that are widely recognised, consistently discussed and supported by reliable third-party information rather than relying solely on marketing claims.

Chief Tinker Tom Wenborn added that many businesses mistakenly view AI optimisation as a purely technical exercise. Instead, he argued that AI systems place greater weight on genuine reputation, media coverage and public conversation, making authentic brand recognition more valuable than technical optimisation alone.

With Hi-Vis, Thinkerbell aims to help marketers understand how AI platforms perceive their brands and identify opportunities to strengthen visibility as AI-driven discovery continues to reshape digital marketing.
