HP appoints Dirk Lewis as India Market Communications Lead

HP has appointed Dirk Lewis as India Market Communications Lead, where he will lead the company's communications strategy for the India market.

Lewis shared the update through a LinkedIn post, outlining his responsibilities, which include corporate and product communications, thought leadership, media relations, content development, and localising HP's global narratives, campaigns and activations for India.

"The remit is a wide one: HP's overall communications strategy for the India market, thought leadership through corporate and product storytelling, media, content, and localising HP's global narratives, campaigns and activations," Lewis wrote in his post.

He joins HP after a four month sabbatical and brings over two decades of experience in corporate communications, public relations, reputation management and brand storytelling across the technology, consulting and digital sectors.

Before joining HP, Lewis served as Director, Corporate Communications, Online Reputation Management and Sustainability at Tata Digital for over four years. During his tenure, he worked on the launch of Tata Neu and led communications across Tata Digital's portfolio, while also overseeing sustainability communications and online reputation management.

Earlier in his career, Lewis held communications leadership roles at MSL India, where he worked with technology clients including AWS and Capgemini Engineering, and at Wipro in global communications. He was also the first Public Relations Manager for Gartner across India and the Middle East.

His professional journey also includes roles at FleishmanHillard, Text100, Vaishnavi Corporate Communications, Genesis BCW and Hanmer MS&L, with experience spanning corporate communications, crisis management, executive positioning and integrated communications strategy.
