TREYNA Group expands PR practice with acquisition of Evident

REYNA Group has acquired the corporate and advocacy communications specialist Evident to scale its public relations offering, with the firm officially operating as TREYNA Evident, a business unit of TREYNA PR, starting October 1, 2026.The acquisition establishes TREYNA PR, formerly known as MullenLowe MARC, as one of the country's leading PR agencies, combining consumer and lifestyle expertise with deep specialization in corporate and public affairs. While TREYNA PR has a history of working with major FMCG and lifestyle brands such as Unilever, Monde Nissin, and Galderma, Evident brings extensive experience across finance, technology, transport, energy, telecommunications, and real estate, alongside work with multilateral institutions and nonprofits in areas like sustainability, public health, and climate resilience.Evident founder Cecile Dominguez-Yujuico noted that joining TREYNA PR allows the firm to scale its expertise in navigating complex regulatory and public interest terrain. The move represents the latest chapter in TREYNA Group's ongoing M&A and structural evolution, following the acquisition of ARC Public Relations in 2018, an investment in UX/UI specialist Quiddity in 2021, and the purchase of Xiklab Digital’s ad business in 2024. Following a 48-year history that included Lintas, Lowe, and MullenLowe, the company rebranded from MullenLowe TREYNA to TREYNA Group in 2026.TREYNA Group Chairman and CEO Mike Trillana stated that the acquisition underscores the group's challenger mindset and ongoing commitment to expanding its capabilities rather than staying tied to traditional offerings.
