APRW has appointed Puja Bharwani as Associate Director as the communications consultancy expands its advisory and narrative capabilities. In her new role, Bharwani will advise clients on narrative strategy and positioning, media relations, and communications across earned, owned and stakeholder channels. Her portfolio will focus primarily on AI and enterprise technology companies and financial institutions, including venture capital firms, private equity funds and family offices. She will also work with selected consumer and luxury lifestyle brands, creators and influencers.Bharwani brings experience across journalism, public relations, venture building and technology. A former Reuters journalist, she previously served as Head of Marketing and PR at Antler.“Communication is not something that happens after decisions are made. It is part of how policies, decisions, and strategies are understood, tested, and accepted,” Bharwani said. She added that fragmented trust and the growing ability of audiences to engage directly with leaders and brands have made strategic communication more critical.APRW Managing Director Cho Pei Lin said Bharwani's experience across journalism, venture building, technology startups and AI would give the agency a distinctive perspective on how organisations prepare for and communicate in a rapidly changing environment. As part of the appointment, Bharwani will also bring her proprietary Owned Story™ programme to Knowledge Studio by APRW (APRW KnowS), the agency's communications readiness and advisory arm.The programme combines workshops, a proprietary prompting system and a card game designed to help organisations define and establish their narratives before engaging with stakeholders. The appointment is part of APRW's broader effort to expand its strategic communications advisory practice and support clients facing increasingly complex communications and reputation challenges.
