HYROX appoints Adam Gangemi as PR Manager for APAC

HYROX has appointed Adam Gangemi as PR Manager for the Asia-Pacific region, as the fitness racing brand accelerates its expansion across key international markets.In his new role, Gangemi will lead marketing and communications efforts across APAC, focusing on brand awareness, race storytelling, participant-led narratives and regional partnerships as HYROX continues to deepen its presence across the region.Speaking about the appointment, Gangemi said one of HYROX’s biggest strengths lies in the diversity of stories emerging from every event.“What makes HYROX so special is that every race has a thousand different stories behind it, from adaptive athletes, to first-timers, to HYROX veterans. I’m looking forward to showcasing this powerful community, working with exciting partners, launching HYROX into new regions, and supporting the momentum already witnessed across APAC,” he said.HYROX has already hosted races across Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong, Japan, Taiwan, Thailand, Singapore and South Korea, with several markets hosting events across multiple cities.Gangemi said the next phase of growth will include emerging markets such as Indonesia and Malaysia, where the company has already announced upcoming races.“We have announced races in Indonesia and Malaysia, so I’m excited to see the reception those races receive,” he added.Based in Sydney, Gangemi joins HYROX after serving as Campaign Manager at TEAM LEWIS, where he worked across brand-building and communications mandates in Australia and the wider APAC region.Interestingly, HYROX was previously one of his clients during his tenure at the agency.“I loved helping brands grow their presence in Australia and APAC.
