We. Communications Singapore has been appointed as the agency of record for Agoda’s corporate communications across Asia Pacific.

Under the mandate, the agency will support the digital travel platform across media relations, regional communications campaigns and content development, with a focus on strengthening Agoda’s visibility among corporate, industry and stakeholder audiences across the region.

The partnership comes as travel and technology sectors continue to converge, creating new opportunities and challenges for brands operating in Asia Pacific's rapidly evolving travel landscape. We. Communications said it has been working with Agoda since earlier this year and is already supporting communications initiatives across multiple markets.

"We are extremely excited to be partnering with Agoda and look forward to continuing to build on the work already underway," the agency said in a statement.

The appointment will see We. Communications leverage its expertise across technology and travel communications to support Agoda's corporate storytelling and reputation-building efforts. The move also reflects the growing importance of inter-Asia travel, which continues to be a key growth driver for the regional tourism industry.

For Agoda, strategic communications has become increasingly important as travel brands navigate changing consumer expectations, accelerating digital adoption and heightened competition across Asia Pacific. With travellers increasingly embracing digital-first booking behaviours and regional travel experiences, travel technology companies are investing more heavily in corporate reputation and stakeholder engagement.

Headquartered in Singapore, Agoda offers accommodation, flight and travel booking services across global markets, with Asia Pacific remaining a core growth region for the company.

Separately, Agoda Malaysia has appointed Alpha Story as its public relations agency, with the agency tasked with handling traditional PR and content creation under a 1+1 contract arrangement.
