Global communications network IPREX has appointed Nicole Reaney as its new Asia Pacific President, marking the latest in a series of leadership changes across the organisation's global board.
Reaney succeeds Anu Gupta of APRW, who has led the Asia Pacific region since January 2024 and became the first communications executive from Singapore to join the IPREX Global Board.
The appointment was announced following IPREX's annual global conference in Singapore in May 2026 and comes alongside broader governance changes across the network. Heidi Otway, founder of SalterMitchell PR in the US, has assumed the role of Global President, while David Rudd of Rudd Resources has been named Americas Regional President.
Reaney will continue as CEO of InsideOut PR, the Sydney-based agency she founded in 2005, while taking on responsibility for strengthening collaboration, visibility and business development opportunities across the Asia Pacific region. InsideOut PR has been part of the IPREX network for more than a decade and works across sectors including consumer, corporate, technology, finance, travel and lifestyle communications.
"I'm thrilled to take on this role and help strengthen APAC region's visibility on a global front," Reaney said following the announcement.
Her appointment comes at a time of expansion for IPREX, which has been growing its international footprint through new agency partnerships across Europe, North America and Asia-Pacific. The network now comprises more than 1,100 communications professionals operating across more than 100 markets worldwide, providing clients with local expertise backed by international reach.
