Khushboo Parekh has joined Vayona Energy as assistant general manager, corporate communications. Her appointment marks a move into the renewable energy sector after working across aviation, media and entertainment, and digital businesses.Announcing her new role, Parekh said she was excited to be part of a sector that is evolving rapidly and playing an increasingly important role in India's energy future. She also expressed gratitude to Vayona Energy's leadership for their trust and the opportunity.Parekh brings experience across corporate communications, public relations, corporate social responsibility (CSR), strategic communications and crisis communications. Before joining Vayona Energy, she served as senior manager, corporate communications and CSR, at Akasa Air.Her previous roles include public relations manager for the digital business at Sony Pictures Networks India, corporate communications lead at Trell, and corporate communications manager at Mitron TV. She has also worked with IN10 Media Network and Eros International, along with agency experience at MSLGROUP, Crisscross Communication and Ogilvy Public Relations.With experience spanning corporate and agency communications, Parekh's latest appointment adds renewable energy to her professional journey across multiple sectors.
