Anjali Gupta has joined the India International Institute of Democracy and Election Management (IIIDEM), an initiative of the Election Commission of India (ECI), as manager, communications.In her new role, Gupta will lead communication and outreach efforts for India’s chairship of International IDEA, along with communication initiatives for IIIDEM.Her responsibilities will include developing and executing integrated communication and outreach strategies for domestic and global audiences, highlighting India’s experience in electoral management and democratic practices on international platforms.Gupta will also oversee media engagement, digital and social media presence, and stakeholder communication. Additionally, she will support international partnerships, knowledge-sharing and capacity-building initiatives in democracy and election management.Her appointment comes as India continues to strengthen its engagement with international platforms and partnerships focused on electoral management and democratic practices.
