Sreeja MS has joined White Gold as Head of Communications, marking a new phase in her 15 year career spanning journalism, media and branded content.Sreeja began her career in journalism while in college, working with a hospitality magazine before joining News9 as an Associate Producer. She worked across news stories, bulletins and features, before moving into reporting and gaining experience in field journalism and news gathering.Reflecting on the transition, Sreeja said, “15 years ago, I walked into my first newsroom. Today I'm walking into my first boardroom.”She also credited her early newsroom experience and the journalists she worked with for shaping her approach to storytelling and reporting. “I did journalism that MATTERED. That made an IMPACT. I'll carry that with me,” she said.After spending more than a decade in mainstream journalism, Sreeja made her first career transition three years ago, moving into branded content within the media industry at Times Network. She credited Mihir Bhatt for opening the opportunity.At White Gold, Sreeja will lead the company's communications mandate as it builds its position in the organised gold buying space.
