Risha Magu has joined Google India as Director, Communications & Public Affairs.Magu shared the update on LinkedIn, marking her move to Google after nearly six years at Meta, where she most recently served as Director Communications – Policy & Innovation for India.In her post, Magu reflected on her time at Meta, highlighting her experience working across products including Instagram, WhatsApp and Ray-Ban Meta Smart Glasses.Before Meta, she worked at HMD Global, where she held leadership roles including Global Head of Communications and Communications Head for India.Her professional journey also includes communications roles at Microsoft India and Nokia India, where she worked across consumer communications, corporate communications, crisis management and brand strategy.Earlier in her career, Magu served as Account Director at 20:20 Media, managing communication strategy for brands including Google India, Tripadvisor, Canon and Aircel.She also spent several years at Perfect Relations in consulting and leadership roles.
