Partha Ghosh has joined JSW Group as Executive Vice President & Group Head of Communications, marking a new chapter in his professional career and a move to Mumbai with his family.Sharing the announcement on LinkedIn, Ghosh wrote, “New beginnings, new city! I'm happy to share that I have joined the JSW Group as Executive Vice President & Group Head of Communications.”Explaining what drew him to JSW Group, Ghosh said the organisation’s “leadership and sense of purpose” were key factors. He highlighted the group’s work across businesses as well as its initiatives in sports, heritage and art, and community development.Ghosh added, “Here is an organisation that is not only building world-class businesses, but is also laying the foundations of a progressive India, nurturing sports champions of tomorrow, conserving our rich heritage and art, and transforming communities across the country.”In his new role, Ghosh will lead communications for the diversified JSW Group. Air India has appointed Senjam Raj Sekhar as its Global Head of Communications. Sekhar announced the development on LinkedIn.In his post, he wrote, “Air India is more than just the flag carrier of the country. It is an enduring emblem of India’s glorious aviation heritage. Over the course of his career, he has also held communications roles at Flipkart, Vedanta Resources Limited, Bharti Enterprises and Samsung.The appointment coincides with a leadership transition within the communications function. Partha Ghosh, previously Global Head of Communications at Air India, has been appointed Advisor to the CEO.
