IKEA India has appointed Vaishnavi Venkat as its Public Relations Leader. She joined the company in February 2026 and is based in Bengaluru.Venkat moves from Tata Motors, where she served as Senior Manager, Corporate Communications from February 2024 to January 2026.Earlier, she spent close to three years at MSL India, most recently as Associate Director. Prior to that, she was with Edelman for nearly five years, handling mandates across automotive, tourism and consumer brands.At Edelman, she worked on communications for brands including Flipkart, Dubai Tourism and Tata Motors.Venkat began her career with internships at 20:20 MEDIA and R K SWAMY BBDO. She has also worked with WWF-India and was previously associated with The YP Foundation as a peer educator.Announcing the move on LinkedIn, Venkat said the transition marks a new professional chapter and a shift to Bengaluru after a decade in Mumbai.
