Deepti Shetty has taken on a new role as Head of Asia Pacific Communications at BASF, marking a leadership progression within the company.Shetty has been with BASF for over seven years, during which she has held multiple regional communications roles across Asia Pacific. She joined BASF in Mumbai, working across internal and external communications and CSR, before moving to Kuala Lumpur to take on broader regional responsibilities. Most recently, she led regional external and internal communications for Asia Pacific, and earlier served as Regional Manager, External Communications, APAC.In her current role, Shetty will lead BASF’s Asia Pacific communications function, overseeing a team of 26 colleagues across 12 countries. Her responsibilities span internal and external communications across the region, with a focus on stakeholder engagement and building consistent narratives across diverse markets.Prior to BASF, Shetty spent a decade at Godrej Industries Group as General Manager, Corporate Communications. She has also worked with Vaishnavi Corporate Communications and began her career in media relations at Larsen & Toubro Infotech.Her appointment reflects continuity in BASF’s regional communications leadership, building on her experience across markets, cultures, and communications disciplines in Asia Pacific.
