Kiwi, has appointed Sumeet Basrani as Chief Business Officer, strengthening its leadership. The appointment comes as Kiwi shifts focus from early product adoption to large-scale distribution of credit on UPI through bank and ecosystem partnerships.Sumeet brings over 15 years of experience across cards and payments, having previously worked with organizations such as CRED, OneCard, ICICI Bank and Visa. In his last role, he played a key role in building and scaling CREDs partnerships across credit cards, payments and lending with banks and financial institutions. For Kiwi, the next phase will focus on expanding the market by enabling access to Credit on UPI to millions of Indians.
