Leadership and communications consultancy The Grossman Group has introduced a new advisory practice aimed at helping chief communications officers (CCOs) modernise their communications functions as the role becomes increasingly strategic amid rapid advances in AI and enterprise transformation.
The new CCO Advisory is designed to support communications leaders facing rising expectations around AI adoption, employee experience, organisational change and stakeholder engagement. The firm said that while the responsibilities of CCOs have expanded significantly in recent years, many communications teams continue to operate with outdated structures, systems and measurement frameworks.
The advisory service combines organisational diagnostics, strategic consulting, data-driven insights and ongoing executive support. Each engagement begins with The Grossman Group's proprietary Modernization Roadmap, an assessment framework that evaluates communications operations across seven critical areas: strategy, structure, systems, DNA, savvy, staff and skills.
The assessment is intended to identify capability gaps, prioritise investments and align communications functions more closely with broader business objectives.
