Eric Johnston has joined Nestlé Waters & Premium Beverages as Head of Corporate Affairs and Sustainability for the Americas.
In the role, Johnston will oversee corporate affairs, government relations, sustainability, public policy, reputation management and stakeholder engagement across the region.
He brings more than 15 years of experience spanning government affairs, public policy, stakeholder engagement, strategic operations and corporate affairs. He joins from Comcast, where he served as Executive Director of Strategic Affairs, Public Policy and Digital Opportunity, helping align digital opportunity initiatives with federal, state and local government affairs and public policy.
Previously, Johnston spent more than three years at Marriott International as Director of Federal Government Affairs, leading government affairs and public policy activities. He also held the role of Director, Government Relations at Coca-Cola Consolidated and spent seven years with Strategic Solutions Center.
Commenting on his appointment in a LinkedIn post, Johnston said he looks forward to strengthening stakeholder engagement, supporting business growth and communicating the story of Nestlé’s brands, people and purpose.
