Simone Gandur joins IDP Education as Interim Global Head of Communications

Global international education services provider IDP Education has appointed Simone Gandur as Interim Head of Communications – Global, strengthening its leadership team as the company continues to support students, education institutions and governments across international markets.

Gandur joins IDP from her own strategic advisory firm, Values Communication, where she counselled organisations on corporate communications, stakeholder engagement, reputation management and strategic messaging. In her new interim role, she will lead the company's global communications function, overseeing internal and external communications while supporting executive engagement and corporate reputation initiatives.

An experienced communications executive, Gandur has held senior positions at Banksia Strategic Partners and across several Victorian Government departments, where she led communications and public affairs programmes spanning policy, public sector reform and stakeholder engagement. Her career includes extensive experience in issues management, strategic communications and government relations.
