Wongpethkao brings over 15 years of experience across corporate and regional agency environments. Prior to joining the firm, he led corporate communications and customer experience transformation at Mazda Sales Thailand. He also served as deputy head of corporate communications and strategic planning at SC Asset Corporation.
Earlier in his career, Wongpethkao held the role of chief digital officer at Vero, where he worked across Southeast Asia.
At Ruder Finn Era, he will lead the Thailand business as part of the agency’s ongoing expansion in the region.
Commenting on the appointment, Anthony Larmon said Thailand continues to be an important market for brands, with evolving communications needs shaped by changing consumer and business dynamics.
Wongpethkao added that organisations are increasingly seeking integrated communications approaches that combine local relevance with regional scalability.
