Rishi Pathania joins Jindal Steel Ltd. as Vice President and Head CSR

Rishi Pathania has joined Jindal Steel Ltd as Vice President and Head CSR, where he will lead the company’s corporate social responsibility strategy and community impact initiatives.

Sharing the update, Pathania said, “I’m happy to share that I joined Jindal Steel Ltd two months ago as Vice President and Head CSR.” He added that he looks forward to “contributing to the company’s vision and strong commitment to building social capital, creating meaningful and scalable impact for communities.”

In his new role, Pathania will focus on strengthening purpose-led initiatives and advancing sustainability-driven programs aligned with long-term community development goals.

Prior to this, he spent over a decade with UPL, where he served as Global Head (VP) – CSR, leading the design and implementation of global CSR strategies, managing large-scale projects across multiple geographies, and contributing to ESG and sustainability initiatives. His work involved stakeholder engagement with governments, NGOs, and communities, along with overseeing impact assessment and integrated CSR communications.

Earlier, Pathania was associated with Tata Chemicals Ltd as Head CSR – Chemical Business, where he developed and implemented CSR programs aligned with business priorities and community needs, while also driving stakeholder engagement and reporting frameworks.

With extensive experience across corporate and development sectors, Pathania brings deep expertise in CSR strategy, sustainability, and community engagement to his role at Jindal Steel Ltd.
