Citi India announced the appointment of Srini Kannan as Head of Digital, Technology, Communication, Business & Professional Services, and Industrials for Citi Commercial Bank (CCB) in India, effective early December 2025.
Srini will oversee CCB’s presence across these industries in India and serve as a strategic advisor to clients, leveraging Citi’s global network across 94 countries. He will also support the execution of the bank’s industry coverage strategy.
Gunjan Kalra, Head of CCB Japan, Australia, and Asia North & Asia South, said: “Srini’s experience in client service and full-spectrum banking solutions will add to our growing franchise in India as we continue to intensify coverage of companies across key industries.”

Srini began his banking career with Citi in 2002 and has extensive experience across corporate banking sectors, dealmaking, and client coverage. He holds a degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Madras and an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad.
